Research in the Centre
Dr Danica Cvejanovic was awarded her PhD from the University of Belgrade in 1974. She was professor at the Faculty of Physics at the University of Belgrade and had a long teaching career. Research experience and achievements come from the laboratories in Institute of Physics, Belgrade; Department of Physics, The University of Manchester; Department of Physics, University of Newcastle upon Tyne; and now CAMPS and CAMS at UWA. Her most recent research was in the field of coherent electron excitation and studies of atomic structure and dynamics in quantum mechanically complete experiments. Present research interests extend this field to use of spin polarized electron beams for characterization of spin dependent effects in metal vapors. Her activity in the Centre concerns development of pulsed beams of slow positrons with narrow energy profiles for scattering on surfaces.
