Dr James Sullivan
- Position
- Australian Research Fellow
- Institution
- RSPhysSE, Australian National University
- Expertise
- Atomic and Molecular Physics
- Positron beams
- Electron and positron scattering
- Research in the Centre
- Dr. Sullivan is in charge of the development of the APBF, which will conduct all of the Centre research using positron beams. He has a background in atomic and molecular physics, with experience in electron and positron scattering as well as photoexcitation. During his time at UCSD, in addition to learning about the operation of the Surko trap and beam system for positrons, he helped develop many of the techniques that will be used for high resolution electron and positron scattering experiments.
