The AINSE Secretary, Dr Dennis Mather, today confirmed a 2007 AINSE Award Grant to Dr Martin Johnston (Flinders University) and Dr Michael Brunger (Flinders University and CAMS), for a joint project with Dr Suzanne Smith (ANSTO and CAMS). The project will investigate the next generation of 64Cu positron emission tomography (PET) imaging agents. This joint project will see work undertaken with the new 600MHz Flinders NMR apparatus at Flinders University, as well as in Dr Smith's laboratory at ANSTO.
