International Expert in Application of Positron for Materials visits ANSTO Node

In mid August, Professor Akira Uedono (Tsukuba Uni, Japan) visits ANSTO to train Post Doctoral Fellow Tony Sergeant and PhD Student, Paul Guagiardo (UWA) in the setting up and commissioning of a Positron Lifetime Annihilation Spectroscopy (PALS) unit supplied by UWA.

Prof Akira Uedono also gave lectures on application of fast and slow positrons in material science at ANSTO Bragg Institute.
