CAMS seeks to be actively involved in community outreach. If you are interested in having a CAMS researcher visit your school or institution, or if you would like to organise a visit to see CAMS facilities, please contact the CAMS Chief Operating Officer.
Recent outreach activities
November 2006
Professor Igor Bray presented the lecture "Matter-Antimatter Interactions" to year 11 and 12 school students at the Carey Baptist College on 21st November.
Professor Peter Teubner spoke to students at St. Johns Primary School, Belair, and presented books to the school library from CAMS on the 2nd of November.
August 2006
Dr. Suzanne Smith presented the lecture "Designing Radiopharmaceuticals" to the 3rd Medicinal Chemistry Course of the University of Queensland on 28th August.
Dr. Suzanne Smith presented the lecture "Nuclear Science for Imaging and Therapy" to the Chemistry Department of the University of Queensland on 27th August.
Dr. Laurence Campbell gave the talk "Calculations of Molecular Interactions in the Upper Atmosphere" to the Faculties of Science and Engineering and Health Sciences of Flinders University on 15th August.
COO Professor Robert Robson met with Queensland's Chief Scientist, Robin Andrews on 8th August.

Dr. James Sullivan gave a talk about CAMS and the APBF to the ANU Physics Students Society on 27th July.
Professor Igor Bray recently talked about "Activities of CAMS" at a conference for the 2006 Tesla Day Celebration, "Nikola Tesla - man who lit the world", on the 7th of July.
Dr. Suzanne Smith presented the lecture "Nuclear Probes for Medicine, Materials and Aerospace Making the Link" at Monash University in Melbourne on the 24-25th July.
Dr. Todd Maddern presented the seminar "Shining Light into a Black Art" at the School of Chemistry, Physics and Earth Sciences of Flinders University on 21st July.
Professor Igor Bray was interviewed by Robyn Williams of the ABC's Science Show, broadcast on 15th and 22nd July 2006.
June 2006
Dr. James Sullivan helped host a delegation from the French Technology Academy on Thursday 29th June. The visitors were given a tour of the CAMS facilities at the ANU.

Dr. Suzanne Smith presented a talk titled "Positrons for Imaging and Therapy" at the Research School of Chemistry, ANU on 28th of May.
