Masters and PhD Scholarships

Opportunities for Higher Degree studies exist across all Research Nodes of the Centre. Applicants must have an excellent First Class Honours Degree from an Australian University (or equivalent). Australian and New Zealand Residents are strongly encouraged to apply for Australian Postgraduate Awards (APA’s) through one of the Academic Institutions in the Centre (Charles Darwin University, Flinders University, The University of Adelaide, Curtin University of Technology, University of Western Australia, The Australian National University). Applicants for APA Scholarships, should they be unsuccessful, will automatically be considered for one of the Scholarships funded by the Centre.

Stipend: Successful APA applicants may be offered a Centre Top-up Scholarship of $10,000 pa. In addition the Centre may offer a number of Centre Scholarships, awarded on Academic Merit, to students who do not or cannot win APA awards. These will be valued at up to $25,000 pa. (tax free).

Travel: A relocation allowance of up to $1000 may be available.

Centre Scholarships are limited and will be offered on a competitive basis and determined on academic merit.
