Travel to Australia

There are many airlines that offer service to various parts of Australia from all over the world. Please check with your local travel agents for any special deals that may be current at the time of SLOPOS12. The closest international entry points to Townsville (for access to Magnetic Island) are Cairns, Brisbane and Sydney, and there are direct flights to Townsville from each of these cities.

Travel Within Australia

Magnetic Island is located a short distance off the coast from Townsville. A number of airlines offer flights within Australia and several of these fly in and out of Townsville to both Brisbane and Sydney, QANTAS, Virgin, Jetstar, Tiger.

From Townsville to Magnetic Island

It is a short taxi ride from the Townsville airport to the All Seasons Resort) is about 1 km from the Magnetic Island ferry terminal and each ferry is met by the island bus which will drop passengers directly outside the All Seasons Resort.
