Undergraduate Scholarships

Mathematics/Physics scholarship

CAMS is now delighted to be sponsoring an elite undergraduate double major in mathematics and physics. Under the direction of Professor Igor Bray at the Curtin University Node of CAMS, successful applicants will receive a scholarship and have the opportunity to achieve the highest academic excellence and work within an outstanding research team with an extensive national and international reputation. Selection will be based on the academic record and a subsequent interview process. Undergraduate Research Vacation Scholarships

Each of the research nodes involved in the Centre may be offering Vacation Scholarships for 2nd, 3rd and Honours year students interested in spending a summer involved in cutting-edge research. The term of the Vacation Scholarship is 8 weeks and they typically start in late November and extend through to early February.

Stipend: Accommodation costs plus $135 per week spending money

Travel: 1 return airfare from place of domicile to research node

Honours Research Projects

Each of the research nodes offers Honours projects related to research activities in the Centre. Limited financial support may be available from the Centre to support these research programs, including travel where appropriate. Honours students should be enrolled at an Australian University, preferably at one of the Academic Institutions within the Centre.

Some Centre Nodes may offer financial support for Honours research programs, including travel where appropriate. Funding is at the discretion of the Node Director, and subject to the regulations of the Node Institution.

Where offered, scholarships may be up to $5000 p.a. for same-city residents and up to $8000 p.a. for students studying at a Node Institution outside their normal place of abode. These figures may be pro-rated if students are required to apportion their time between Node Institutions, and one return airfare may be provided where appropriate
